The calling of the Methodist people of Chesterfield is to respond
to the gospel of God's love in Jesus Christ and, inspired by the
Holy Spirit, to live out their discipleship in worship and mission.

This Circuit's role is:
- To increase awareness of God's presence and celebrate God's
love (Worship);

(Service);
- To make more followers of Jesus Christ (Evangelism) and will
deploy its resources (people, money, buildings) effectively to
achieve these purposes.
