The Chesterfield Methodist Circuit covers both town and country areas. Chesterfield town centre is focus of the surrounding villages as regards services and shopping although we are also close to Sheffield and Derby. There are good local road and rail routes as Chesterfield is on the main line from Edinburgh to London and the M1 motorway is within a short drive.

The diversity of the community, both town and rural, means that there is a balance of ministry to both communities by our circuit churches. Many in the local congregations are from the local area and understand the needs of the communities they serve.
